Tender: Design and Construction of Olinda Creek Pedestrian Bridge at Lilydale Lake

Yarra Ranges Shire Council is seeking a supplier for the design and construction of a pedestrian bridge over Olinda Creek at Lilydale Lake, 435 Swansea Road, to formalize access between the existing path network, dog off‑leash area, car parking and nearby recreation facilities. The project arises from the Lilydale Lake Master Plan adopted in 2024 and is supported by a $1.5 million Federal Community Infrastructure: Thriving Suburbs & Growing Regions grant to improve the recreation space and upgrade existing infrastructure. The existing creek crossing is informal (rocks) and not suitable for long‑term use; the Council requires a safe, durable, low‑maintenance bridge that integrates with the current paths. Yarra Ranges Shire Council (ABN 21 973 226 012) invites tenders from suitably experienced parties for the works at Melways Ref: 38E6; construction must start no later than 30 April 2027 and reach Practical Completion by no later than 25 June 2027.
