About

The Department of Defence is seeking a managing contractor for the Harold E Holt Redevelopment, led by the Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Branch (CFI). The project proposes to address aging infrastructure at the Harold E Holt Defence Precinct to support the long-term sustainment of the Naval Communication Station and is valued at over $200 million. CFI has shortlisted companies from the Defence Infrastructure Panel – Major Construction to participate in the upcoming managing contractor procurement process. Proposed works may include demolition and hazardous materials management; civil, structural, electrical and mechanical engineering services; new or refurbished working accommodation and maintenance facilities; physical security and electronic access control upgrades; industrial power generation and distribution; photovoltaic arrays and battery energy storage; potable water and wastewater treatment systems; fuel storage; and construction camp and services.
