About

The Commonwealth of Australia, represented by the Department of Defence, is seeking suppliers to provide mortuary and bereavement support services under a standing offer to increase capacity and surge capability for incident response. The required services include Disaster Victim Identification and repatriation of human remains, provision of specialised equipment, arranging deployment of incident response teams primarily at non-Australian locations and within Australian jurisdictions, and delivering bereavement support to persons, families and/or groups as directed by the Commonwealth. The standing offer aims to establish a mortuary affairs and bereavement service capability that enhances the Commonwealth’s ability to respond to incidents and surge.
