About

Goulburn Valley (GV) Health is seeking an NGO partner to support establishment and operate the new 10‑bed Shepparton Youth Prevention and Recovery Care (YPARC) centre, delivering short-term, recovery-focused residential treatment and support for young people aged 16–25. The facility at 5–7 Numurkah Rd and 107–109 Balaclava Road, Shepparton, completed construction and was handed over in November 2025; GV Health received funding allocations to support establishment and initial operations, including a March 2026 allocation of $250,000 conditional on opening the service on 1 July 2026 and a January 2026 allocation of $2,688,000 for 2026–27. The YPARC will form part of GV Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, bridging community mental health and acute inpatient care across the Goulburn Valley region.
