About

AMSA is seeking a supplier for the refurbishment of the North West Vernon Island AtoN, located north‑east of Darwin. The works include refurbishing the existing steel pile, replacing the access platform, strengthening and incorporating an existing spare Size 3 GRP hut (non‑cyclone rated), installing a new solar power supply and associated AtoN equipment, relocating the radar reflector from the GRP hut to the platform, and providing a new access ladder and buffer rail arrangement, with the aim of achieving a minimum 25‑year service life for the refurbished structure.
