About

Torres Shire Council is seeking a supplier to replace the lights on existing poles at the football field on Thursday Island, using the existing poles subject to inspection and approval. The work includes lighting design to meet recreational/training low-level requirements of minimum 100 lux at 50% capacity and up to a minimum of 200 lux for competition games with required uniformity, and must comply with AS/NZS 2560.2:2021. The scope requires removal of existing lighting and replacement with LED Raptor lights (or equivalent) at 4 fixtures per pole (16 total), installation of new drivers in the base of each pole, reticulation around the field and new cable to each pole per specifications, and installation of a wiring/control system with preferred dimming settings of 50%, 75% and 100%.
