About

Sunshine Coast Council is seeking a supplier for the supply, installation, testing and certification of the Cell 6 and Cell 7 sidewall geosynthetic liner system for the Nambour Landfill Expansion at 18 Cooney Road, Bli Bli. The contract is limited to the supply and installation of geosynthetic liner components (HDPE geomembrane and protection geotextile) for Cell 6 sidewall liner lifts 2 and 3 and Cell 7 baseliner and piggyback lift 1, with Council completing civil construction and liner receiving surface to specified levels and tolerances. This lump sum contract requires the successful contractor to provide all materials, plant and labour and to perform all necessary operations; installation is anticipated to commence on 1 December 2026 with anticipated practical completion on 30 June 2027.
