NHMRC is seeking a supplier to undertake systematic reviews to inform an updated Statement on Electronic Cigarettes, funded by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing to replace the 2022 NHMRC CEO Statement. The Committee has prioritised two review topics: (1) global evidence on the health and wellbeing impacts of electronic cigarettes on young people, including developmental, psychological, emotional and educational impacts; and (2) motivators, barriers and enablers for vaping cessation, delivered as a mixed-methods systematic review with segregated analysis and presentation of qualitative and quantitative studies. Suppliers may quote for one or both reviews and, if quoting for both, must explain how they will deliver all services within the required timeframe and any associated cost savings; deliverables are required for each review and suppliers should provide sufficient detail to demonstrate all requirements are addressed.
