Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts awarded a contract to Eyes2market GmbH for international marketing representation in Europe on behalf of Tourism Tasmania.

The engagement appointed an in‑market regional representative to act as the single identity for Tourism Tasmania in Europe, to work with Tourism Australia, State Tourism Organisations and key industry partners, and to establish and leverage Tasmania's brand and brand values through creative and innovative marketing.

The representative developed Regional Strategic Marketing Plans for key European markets, implemented agreed strategies and programs in market, identified and built relationships with key trade and non‑traditional partners, coordinated with Tourism Tasmania’s PR representatives on media plans and Visiting Journalist Programs and integrated campaigns, provided up‑to‑the‑minute market intelligence and insights on the market, travel trade and aviation industry, and represented Tourism Tasmania at in‑market industry meetings, partner meetings, trade forums and other functions as required.
