About
Department of Transport and Main Roads awarded a contract to Boral Asphalt for the provision of medium duty dense graded asphalt surfacing at two locations: Apple Tree Creek Town Centre and Andersons Road.
The project involved the application of AC [14 C320] M mix, with a total of 650 tonnes for Pavement 1 and 15 tonnes for Pavement 2 at Apple Tree Creek, and 180 tonnes for Pavement 1 and 35 tonnes for Pavement 2 at Andersons Road.
RoadTek was responsible for traffic management and survey set-out, while Boral Asphalt handled all testing to align with TMR's Standard Specifications, particularly MRS30 and MRTS30 (Oct 15) for asphalt pavements.
