Dept of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure awarded a contract to JACOBS GROUP (AUSTRALIA) PTY LTD for completing detailed geotechnical and hydraulic assessments, preparing detailed drawings for tendering, cost estimates, and an asbestos management plan for embankment stabilisation works at three sites on the Transmission Track between Talbingo and Buddong Falls.
The contract was established as an adjunct to the previous Bushfire Recovery Works contract (EF20/2900) but treated as a separate contract due to increased scope and fee.
This contract reflects the ongoing recovery efforts from the 2020 bushfires in Kosciuszko National Park, with Jacobs Group being a frequent recipient of government infrastructure design contracts.
