About
The System Policy and Planning Division, First Nations Health Office awarded a contract to the Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council for the establishment of two First Nations Health Regional Hubs through subcontracting arrangements to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Organisations (ATSICCHOs) in delivering culturally safe, locally responsive primary care, with a focus on referral management, data sharing and system navigation, and, in FY2027-28, to undertake an independent evaluation, regional health profiles and service mapping to inform potential expansion of the hub model.
