About
East Metropolitan Health Service awarded a contract to Global Cabling (WA) Pty Ltd for planned facility and information technology infrastructure upgrades to critical communications rooms (CCRs) across Bentley Health Service and Royal Perth Hospital under the Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program – Works Package 1.
The upgrades were required to address concerns around historical under-investment in EMHS LAN infrastructure; ensure the protection of patients’ personal health data; address known issues and risks with existing network security; support contemporary digital technologies; increase security visibility within EMHS LAN infrastructure; and increase security separation between EMHS systems and sites.
