About

Department of Health and Human Services awarded a contract to Macquarie Builders Pty Ltd for the design and construction of eight residential two-bedroom units at Moonah.

The design was required to meet minimum universal design standards for social housing projects, the units were required to achieve a 6 star energy rating, and all units were to be constructed to meet the Australian Standard for Adaptable Housing AS4299-1995 Class C.

Construction completion was required by November 2010.
