About

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport awarded a contract to Bardavcol Pty Ltd for the design and construction of the Karrawirra Parri (River Torrens) Footbridge, valued at AUD 8,224,837.35.

The footbridge will be built at the apex of the bend in the River Torrens, adjacent to the junction of Adam Street and River Street, Thebarton, as part of the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project.

It will connect the southern and northern Linear paths along the river, enhancing community connectivity and providing direct access to the relocated Warriappendi School and Torrensville Bowling Club at the New Thebarton Hub on Lot 51, Ann Nelson Drive.
