About
North Metropolitan Health Service awarded a contract to WA Primary Health Alliance (WA Primary Health Alliance Limited) for the development and implementation of cancer-related localised pathways on the Clinician Assist WA platform.
Cancer Network WA (CNWA) supplied funding to WA Primary Health Alliance for the work.
The pathways provided guidance to general practitioners and other health professionals in assessing, managing and referring patients across WA, and enabled them to provide enhanced, integrated care for patients and their families throughout the whole cancer journey.
The contract connected a public health service, a regional primary health organisation and an existing clinical decision-support platform to standardise and localise cancer care pathways for general practice, reflecting an emphasis on integrated primary-care support for cancer management.
