About
The Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment awarded a contract to Freshwater Systems for ground-truthing and validation of the Conservation of Freshwater Ecosystems Values (CFEV) database to support Water Management Planning.
The project involved developing a robust methodology for field verification of ecological values associated with freshwater-dependent ecosystems across Tasmania, applying the methodology in selected catchments, and refining the CFEV database to improve water management decision-making.
Assessment reports for each targeted catchment were also required.
