Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts awarded a contract to Development Counsellors International for representation and delivery of Tourism Tasmania’s marketing plan in the North American market.

The supplier acted as the in‑market regional representative and single identity for Tasmania, managing and implementing marketing activities, providing substantial backup to ensure professional and timely servicing, and working with Tourism Australia, State Tourism Organisations and other key partners to establish, articulate and leverage Tasmania’s brand and brand values through creative and innovative marketing.

The role also involved working to align Tasmania’s tourism product, experiences and infrastructure with market expectations of the brand.
