About
Public Transport Authority awarded a contract to Western Environmental Pty Ltd for validation testing to determine contamination at Site 'C' resulting from use by Gateway WA.
The investigation targeted areas including the ASS treatment pad, mechanical workshop, and truck wash bay, with a wide grid pattern of soil samples for contaminants such as TRH, PAHs, BTEX, metals, and nutrients.
Soil and groundwater testing was also required to assess PFAS presence and concentrations.
