The contract covered provision of equipment and software to capture portrait and signature images at Service Tasmania shops, production of cards either at the supplier’s facility or via instant on‑site printing in shops, and distribution of cards within required timeframes and in accordance with directions, standards and requirements specified by the Department or participating agencies.
Contracts of this type required integrated capabilities across imaging hardware/software, card production (central or instant-print) and logistics; suppliers able to deliver combined technical and distribution solutions were positioned to meet the Department’s statewide requirements.
