About
Department of Housing and Works awarded a contract to Choices Flooring Geraldton (Abblay Investments Pty Ltd) for the provision of resilient finishes as part of converting ten (10) Temporary Accommodation Unit (TAU) modules into five (5) modular homes.
The Housing Authority had appointed a Production Manager to oversee the conversion; the Production Manager sought quotations from suitably qualified contractors for works identified as Key Subcontractor Work, with the Housing Authority intending to engage the successful contractor directly.
Quotations were evaluated jointly by the Housing Authority and the Production Manager, and the contract was awarded to the respondent that offered the best overall value and project outcome.
