About
Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment awarded a contract to CH2M HILL for technical advice on the further development of an acid rock drainage neutralisation system that had been designed as part of the Savage River Rehabilitation Project.
The contract covered provision of specialist technical advice to progress the neutralisation system following several completed pilot trials.
The Savage River Rehabilitation Project involved remediation of historical acid drainage sources on the Savage River mine site and was a cooperative project between the Department and Grange Resources.
