East Metropolitan Health Service awarded a contract to ISA Technologies (I.S.A Pty Ltd) for the provision of Vocera implementation and hypercare services for Royal Perth Hospital (RPH).
The contract supported the full implementation of a Vocera Communications solution across RPH, building on two existing contracts that had supplied, designed and implemented Vocera mobile duress services for the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Units.
It included provision of training and phone support for staff and delivered the service-support elements required to fully implement Vocera across the hospital following July 2024 approval to proceed.
Contracts to implement clinical communications platforms like Vocera were typically awarded to specialist integrators able to deliver device deployment, clinical workflow integration, staff training and short-term hypercare support, reflecting the importance of vendor capability in both technical delivery and end-user adoption.
