About
Department of Health (Royal Street) awarded a contract to Hardes and Associates (Hardes and Associates as Trustee for the Hardes Family Trust) for statewide demand, capacity and scenario modelling of hospital inpatient, emergency department and outpatient services across the Western Australian Health system.
The contract required robust, evidence‑based modelling to assess service demand, evaluate system capacity constraints and test potential scenarios under varying population, policy and service‑delivery settings.
The modelling outputs underpinned strategic clinical service planning, health infrastructure planning and investment, workforce planning, demand management and reform initiatives across the State by providing forecasts and analyses to support long‑term planning and system performance assessment.
