About
Department of Housing and Works awarded a contract to DXC Technology (DXC Technology Australia Pty Limited) for provision of Oracle application and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure support services.
The contract covered support of tenancies on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform hosting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), and the range of managed services procured under the CUAICTS2021 quote to ensure the Oracle applications and cloud infrastructure were effectively supported.
The Customer (Department of Finance) provided Financial Management Services and a fully managed bureau of financial services to Department of Treasury and delivered a Financial Management Information System (FMIS) as a service to Economic Regulatory Authority (ERA), Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), Public Sector Commission (PSC), Infrastructure WA (IWA) and Salary Allowance Tribunal (SAT).
The full technical and service requirements were specified in Attachment 1: FIN23011 SOR Oracle Support Services.
Contracts to support shared Oracle applications on OCI for government financial-management systems were typically awarded to established IT managed‑service providers with proven Oracle cloud and application support capabilities; centralising FMIS support under a single supplier supported continuity and standardisation across multiple public sector agencies.
