About
(inactive) Department of Parks and Wildlife awarded a contract to Frontline Fire & Rescue Equipment (Blue Steel Enterprises Pty Ltd) for the retro-fitting of Vehicle Crew Protection Systems (Water Deluge Systems) to approximately 80 Isuzu Heavy Duty Trucks and Gang Trucks.
The system provides a survivable environment for crew during bushfire burn-overs by enabling operation of external water sprays from within the cabin.
