Public Transport Authority awarded a contract to ES2 (Security & Solution) (ES2 LTD PTY) for Security Incident Event Monitoring.

It also includes Security Incident and Event Management maintenance for MS Sentinel Environment, including rule refinements, analytics, and dashboards, adherence to PTA ITIL practices and tools (ServiceNow), participation in Incident Response exercises, and 8 hours per month for forensics and/or Incident Response Level 2 role, with unused hours rolled into uplift activities.
The service is delivered outside of PTA offices but within Australia.
This contract reflects a trend of outsourcing cybersecurity operations to specialized providers, ensuring continuous monitoring and compliance with ITIL standards.
