North Metropolitan Health Service awarded a contract to mark simmonds (Goldpoint Holdings Pty Ltd as trustee for The Goldpoint Trust t/a Signs & Lines) for the supply and installation of internal wayfinding signage at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital.

The contract addressed two existing generations of internal signage and numerous ad-hoc signs that cluttered main public corridors; it followed audits by wayfinding design consultants that identified the need to rationalise signage and provide a clear hierarchy to enable patient, public and staff journeys to be seamless from arrival at the QEII Medical Centre to destination points within SCGH.

NMHS required provision and installation of signage for G Block (all floors where public and patients access), E Block (all floors where public and patients access), A Block lift lobbies, Balbuk Bidi Watling Walk, Waitj Bidi Emu Path, and Bibdjool Bidi Gecko Path.
