Motor Accidents Insurance Board awarded a contract to Tidswell Consulting for the provision of vocational rehabilitation services, occupational therapy, support needs assessments and case management.
The contract covered delivery of proactive rehabilitation programs for people of all ages with a wide range of injuries under Tasmania's compulsory third party personal injury motor accident compensation scheme.
Services were required to develop active, individual programs across all life domains aligned with the principles of the biopsychosocial model of injury management.
The engagement was established on a contract basis for a period of three years and followed an initial multi-stage procurement process that sought to shortlist suitably skilled and experienced providers.
The award formalised a three-year arrangement for externally delivered, multidisciplinary rehabilitation and case management services within MAIB's CTP scheme, emphasising biopsychosocial approaches and capability across vocational, clinical and support-need assessments.
