East Metropolitan Health Service awarded a contract to Critical Scientific Solutions Pty Ltd (Critical Scientific Solutions) for the provision of Fifteen ISoPro particle counters together with a facility pro processor and associated software to enhance continuous particulate monitoring in critical manufacturing areas.
The purchase responded to opportunities identified in a recent TGA inspection and targeted contamination prevention for cell and gene therapy products to support compliance with Good Manufacturing Procedures.
The specified ISoPro configuration was chosen to meet CTTWA requirements, featuring an integrated vacuum pump to remove the need for external vacuum sources and a compact footprint suited to space‑constrained cleanroom environments.
The acquisition was funded through a successful Therapeutic Innovation of Australia (TIA) grant secured by CTTWA, and was intended to meet a TGA‑specified implementation timeframe of August 2025 for EMHS.
The award demonstrated a grant-funded, audit-driven upgrade of cleanroom environmental monitoring; specialist vendors providing integrated, compact particle counting solutions aligned with regulatory and space constraints were central to the procurement.
