Department of Education awarded a contract to Abacus Educational Suppliers Pty Ltd (T/A Abacus Educational Suppliers) for the supply of curriculum materials, equipment and supplies to schools throughout the State.

The contract supports a long-term strategy to deliver value for money, increase compliance with State Supply Commission policies, standardise discounts, simplify procurement, and introduce better buying principles.

It covers eight learning areas from kindergarten to year 12, with one category for curriculum materials and eight categories for equipment and supplies, under a non-mandatory panel arrangement.
