About

Defence is seeking information on land, existing facilities and alternative financing and delivery solutions to support a scalable logistics node in the Alice Springs region and Central Queensland region. The capability must support varying operational demands, with periods of high activity followed by lower utilisation, and may require access to approximately 250 hectares of developable land and associated logistics infrastructure. Defence is looking for flexible, cost-effective and operationally ready solutions that allow future expansion and meet Defence-specific operational requirements; separate parcels of land will be considered, including sites near transport infrastructure such as ports, rail, airports or major roads, or parcels of sufficient size and design to support logistics activities.
