About
The Department of Communities awarded a contract to Advocare Incorporated for the engagement of a Seniors Peak Body to represent community sector organisations, seniors’ groups and individuals, and to be an independent and active advocate for seniors in Western Australia.
The Seniors Peak Body will also collaborate with the Department to provide input on progressing outcomes that form part of ‘An Age-Friendly WA – State Seniors Strategy 2023-2033 – Action Plan (2023 - 2027)’ and the ‘WA Strategy to Respond to the Abuse of Older People (Elder Abuse) 2019 - 2029 – Action Plan’.
