About
Department of Justice awarded a contract to Axon Public Safety (TASER International B.V.) for the supply and implementation of an integrated platform comprising approximately 349 body-worn cameras and a Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS).
The procurement and implementation of the Platform aimed to modernise the Department’s capability and capacity to capture and share quality audio and video evidence, enhance staff safety and wellbeing, reduce occupational violence and aggression in the workplace, lower the incident-related financial burden on the State, and build community confidence in the justice and correctional system.
