Northern Territory Police Force awarded a contract to Acacia Connection Pty Ltd for the provision of a 36-month panel contract to deliver Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to the Northern Territory Police (NTP) and Northern Territory Fire and Emergency Service (NTFES).
The contract provided access to a panel of qualified and experienced service providers to deliver professional counselling, psychological and psychiatric services offering confidential short-term support to employees, volunteers and their families to address a variety of work-related and personal issues that may affect work performance.
The services also covered support for employees, volunteers and their families who were travelling interstate and for those who had recently retired or resigned and relocated interstate.
The award established a multi-provider panel over a defined 36‑month term to ensure continuous, confidential short-term mental health and counselling support across policing and emergency services, including for mobile or relocated staff.
