About
Department of Justice awarded a contract to Department of Human Services for the provision of outreach services within the Family Violence Court Division (FVCD) at the Ballarat and Heidelberg Magistrates Courts.
The FVCD aims to promote safety for persons who have experienced violence and increase accountability of those who have used violence against partners and families, while simplifying the intervention order application process through available support services.
This inter-departmental MOU leverages existing human services infrastructure to support court-based family violence interventions, reflecting a collaborative approach to public safety and welfare.
