Cancer Australia awarded a contract to the University of Technology Sydney, as represented by the Cancer Quality of Life Expert Service Team (CQUEST), for the Quality of Life (QoL) National Technical Service (NTS).
CQUEST will provide Multi-site Collaborative Cancer Clinical Trials Groups with expert advice and support for the inclusion of Health-related Quality of Life (HRQOL) and Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) measures and/or sub-studies into investigator-initiated and industry-independent cancer clinical trial concepts and protocols for the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2027.
This contract leverages academic expertise to integrate patient-centered outcomes into cancer trials, reflecting a growing emphasis on quality of life metrics in clinical research.
