About
PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA awarded a contract to Rowan McCarthy (Jako Industries Pty Ltd) for the removal, disposal and replacement of existing mechanical ductwork to enable the installation of a new Siemens track and Atellicas in the QEII PP Block (ground floor) as part of Stage 2 (Siemens track enabling works).
The scope of works involved removing and disposing of existing ductwork and installing replacement ductwork and associated mechanical systems to permit the new Siemens track and related equipment to be installed.
The works were required to allow the track installation and to mitigate the risk of instrument overheating, which presented a clinical risk.
