About
Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety awarded a contract to CyberCX (CyberCX Pty Ltd) for the renewal of annual software assurance and support for Imperva SaaS Web Application Firewall services.
The department had replaced two hardware WAF appliances with Imperva’s SaaS equivalent to protect its online systems from malicious activity and intrusion; those firewalls had protected the department’s systems for almost a decade against hacking, denial of service and data mining.
The contract renewed the ongoing software assurance and support arrangements to maintain the department’s SaaS Web Application Firewall protection.
Renewal of annual SaaS WAF support continued a pattern of procuring specialist cybersecurity service providers to sustain managed cloud-based protections against common web threats, indicating ongoing reliance on third-party managed security for perimeter application defence.
