North East Water awarded a contract to Freyssinet Australia for the replacement of the existing corroded roof of the 700kL Clear Water Storage reservoir at Maxwell Drive, Wahgunyah.
The contract included demolition and disposal of the old roof and access ladder, and the supply, fabrication, and installation of new structural components such as beams, purlins, roofing, an access tower, roof hatches, balustrades, internal pipework, and an access ladder.
The project also required hydrostatic testing of the new roof to ensure compliance with standards.
