Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics awarded a contract to Hardy Fencing Australia Pty Ltd for the supply and construction of a new secure heavy-duty Camel Proof fence at Hermannsburg Aerodrome in the Alice Springs Region.
The scope included clearing vegetation along the fence line, installing the new fence on the outer perimeter up to 0.5m from the existing fence while keeping the aerodrome operational, and demolishing the existing fence after construction.
All salvaged materials were handed over to the council.
