About
DCJ is seeking non-government organisations to deliver post-release support services to individuals recently released from custody and on community orders. The Initial Transitional Support (ITS) program provides up to 12 weeks of targeted, evidence-based interventions aligned with each participant’s individual case plan to enhance case management during the critical post-release period, focusing on stabilisation, reintegration and reducing criminogenic risk factors. Providers will work with participants to facilitate access to mainstream community services addressing identified needs such as housing, employment, health, education and social support to strengthen reintegration and reduce the likelihood of reoffending.
