About
Health Support Services awarded a contract to Talent International (Talent International Pty Ltd) for Business Analyst services to support the WA Health Data Platform (WA HDP).
The WA HDP was described as a system-wide, shared data platform for WA Health that included associated governance, processes and services to support scalability and sustainability and to provide a common source of truth for reporting across the WA Health system.
The contracted Business Analyst role was scoped to gather, define and document business requirements, specifications and acceptance criteria; prepare business cases and handle Gateway Review reporting; perform strategic analysis of options and plan and scope inter-related projects within the program; document user stories, test cases and process artefacts; assist and support user testing; conduct project change-management activities; facilitate workshops and training sessions; engage with senior stakeholders and vendors; and support establishment of program management office/governance.
Familiarity with ICT and operational processes and prior WA Health experience were identified as beneficial.
The scope combined hands-on business analysis, governance and change-management support for a major health data program, indicating such contracts favour suppliers able to supply experienced BA resources with healthcare IT and program-governance capabilities.
