About
Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate awarded a contract to JET Charge for the installation of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) at the North Canberra Hospital multi-storey carpark.
The contract required up to 14 EVSE units and a compatible dynamic load management system to support the Territory’s vehicle replacement program to replace passenger and light commercial internal combustion engine vehicles with zero-emission alternatives, contributing to the ACT Government’s net zero emissions by 2040 commitment.
The works supported the operational upkeep of those new vehicles within the hospital carpark.
The award combined supply of charging hardware and systems integration (dynamic load management), reflecting procurement of specialist EV-charging capability for institutional sites and alignment with government electrification objectives.
