Department of Justice awarded a contract to Westbury Smith & Associates Pty Ltd for the provision of independent expert advice to support the development of the Victorian Native Title Settlement.
The Steering Committee, comprising State and Traditional Owner representatives, was established to develop an alternative approach to resolving native title claims in Victoria and is currently negotiating the basis of the Settlement Framework for Cabinet consideration.
