About

Department of Fire and Emergency Services awarded a contract to HIVO (HIVO Pty Ltd) for a secure, scalable, fully managed Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) that enhanced DFES’s ability to manage, distribute and protect its digital assets across a complex, multiuser environment.

The contract required HIVO to supply, implement and support a fully managed, cloud-hosted DAMS that improved accessibility, governance and efficiency and supported the Department’s operational and strategic objectives.

The system was required to support more than 2,000 DFES staff (many of whom were lite users) and to be capable of scaling to include volunteers, contractors and additional authorised users as required.
