DCJ is seeking a non-government organisation to deliver the Extended Reintegration Service (ERS), providing coordinated post-release support to people recently released from custody who are subject to Community Corrections supervision, at risk of homelessness and with complex needs. ERS delivers stable supported accommodation, holistic person-centred case management aligned to an offender’s case plan, and connections to mainstream and specialist community and health services to address barriers to reintegration and support reductions in reoffending. The program offers cross-agency support for up to 12 months, including up to three months pre-release and up to nine months post-release, and supports CSNSW’s priorities to reduce reoffending, promote rehabilitation and reintegration, and enhance community safety.
