Health Support Services awarded a contract to InterWorks (InterWorks AUS Pty Ltd) for data engineer services under the RDDP program.
The RDDP program was a five-year program initiated in FY2021/2022 that progressed from a data platform proof-of-concept and early pilots toward transitioning to a secure, reliable and scalable enterprise data platform across three implementation waves defined in the Program Blueprint.
The contract scope covered provision of data engineering resources with experience in Snowflake data warehousing including system and account administration and RBAC implementation; delivery of robust, scalable data ingestion pipelines using near‑real‑time (Oracle GoldenGate) and batch (Matillion) solutions; data modelling and code management; cloud DWaaS technologies on Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Matillion, Oracle GoldenGate and AWS; advanced SQL; and DevOps/Git code management.
The procurement noted that more than one contract may be awarded under the process.
The requirements emphasized multi-cloud DWaaS, Snowflake administration, and real-time ingestion capability, indicating that suppliers with demonstrable Snowflake, Matillion and Oracle GoldenGate experience and DevOps tooling were well aligned to win work supporting enterprise data platform transitions in the health sector.
