Health Support Services awarded a contract to Peoplebank Australia Limited for a discovery and development engagement supporting the Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP) and the related TRM Project.
The supplier reviewed all material developed to date (including the business case, OAG findings, dependent inflight projects/programs, program definitions/PIDs and meeting minutes), determined the key priorities and objectives the roadmap needed to support (for example macro and micro segmentation strategies, approach to wireless, and service-delivery models such as IaaS versus owner-managed), and identified additional artefacts that would be required (policies, specifications, plans, risk assessments).
Peoplebank developed a Network Security Architecture Framework for each category of Health Service Provider that reflected those priorities and adhered to network security best-practice principles including agility, reliability, flexibility and resilience; the Framework was managed as a live document and prioritised based on CHIIP demand.
The supplier also developed a Roadmap with clear technical milestones and a supporting maturity model aligned to the identified objectives and priorities, and communicated and refined the Roadmap and Architecture Framework based on stakeholder feedback and other inputs.
The contract produced governance-focused deliverables — a prioritised, live Network Security Architecture Framework and a maturity-model-based Roadmap — intended to align security controls (segmentation, wireless strategy, and service-delivery model choices) with CHIIP and TRM objectives to support implementation sequencing and risk management.
