Department of Communities awarded a contract to Nous (Nous Group Pty Ltd) for the development of a family and domestic violence Workforce Capability Framework.
The framework was a tool for building family and domestic violence capability in all workforces that intersect with family and domestic violence.
It described the role and responsibilities and the associated capabilities, knowledge and foundational skills needed to engage with and respond to victim-survivors, including children and young people; respond to perpetrators of family and domestic violence; and support access and inclusion for Aboriginal people, LGBTQIA+, people with disability, and people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds.
The total budget for the procurement was $150,000 (GST inclusive).
The contract was awarded to Nous, a management consultancy, under a $150,000 (GST inclusive) scoped engagement to produce a cross-sector workforce framework addressing victim-survivor response, perpetrator response and priority cohort inclusion.
